A Few Pitfalls To Avoid With Hard Money Lending Institutions

There are really two different kinds of hard money lending companies. The first are direct hard money lenders California who will do all the work. They will underwrite, fund and service your loan. The second are brokers who just shop your loan out to a direct lender. You have to be careful when dealing with companies that only broker hard money loans. Many of them are simply fee collectors that will require you to put up anywhere from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars before they will give you a hard money lending decision. These types of places may or may not have the intention of funding your application, but if they don't, they will keep your money! There is a direct hard money lender that can fund in 13 states. However, they have nosey partnerships with other direct hard money lender California so that they can fund deals in states that are not our primary lending states. That way you get the best of both worlds because if you have a good deal, they will get you funding!

The hard money for funding your real estate investment deals has to come from somewhere. Hard money investors are people who believe in real estate and understand how important it is to driving our economy and building long term sustainable wealth. These people put up their own capital to fund real estate investment deals. Now they don't do this simply out of the kindness of their heart, they are looking to make a profit off the interest they charge on the loan. However, it's a win/win scenario because you make money on buying and selling a property, they make money on the interest from your hard money loan.

What makes hard money lenders so different from you and I?

Most hard money lenders California come from banks and "traditional" lending institutions where they evaluate a property by what it currently is… not what it will be after a little tender loving care. These people don’t have a clue about what it means to find a property and improve it for a profit. Private money lenders California actually do!

Plus, these places will usually sell their loans to people on Wall Street or banks or mortgage companies. That means their hard money loan has to conform to guidelines that make it extremely difficult for you to be successful. Not to mention that once the loan is sold, you are stuck with the servicing of your loan by whoever bought it. You should find an investor that is a hard money lender that will provide you with loans designed for you to make a profit and are always backed by private money investors who want you to succeed. All of our loans are serviced directly by people who have an intimate knowledge of investing in real estate as a profession. This process below will make it easy for you to get the financing you need for your deals. Just click each arrow for additional information and access to the resources we have for you.

So in conclusion, there really isn’t all the much different between hard money lenders and you and I. Everyone has the same goal – make money and each party knows that if you can be profitable, so can the other.

The essentials of flipping a property

A lot of hard work and extra steps go into flipping a property – that is, acquiring a beaten down, worn out house or business, repairing and upgrading the whole thing and then selling it for a profit.

There’s a lot to consider – for one, the time it’ll take, who you’ll be outsourcing to fix dents, tile floors, fix plumbing and garnish the trim. Then there’s the anxiety over selling such a property. Even if you completely renovate a mansion and try to resell it, will anyone be able to buy it in these markets? Well, as the economy and the stock market steadily rise, the answer seems to be yes, so long as you’re patient.

But the most important thing to consider is cost. If your expenses in flipping this hypothetical property exceed or hardly meet your profits, you’ll be down river without a paddle. And what if the banks don’t even approve your project, as they are wont to do in such an unstable market. One way to avoid this is with hiring a hard money lender Arizona. These guys give you the funds to give your project life and usually only ask for a small percentage and payments on interest, so you can focus on all the electrical rewiring or whatever, instead of how you’ll pay bills month to month. Understanding this growing trend of Arizona hard money is essential to anyone trying to make buck in the real estate biz, especially since so many people are wary of it lately. Hopefully, you can make a right decision that will benefit everyone in the end.

Easy money in the faltering real estate market.

Phoenix, Arizona has a population over 1.44 million and that number is only expected to rise in the coming years. Yet, it’s not a very condensed place, spread out to the far reaches of the horizon. So many houses were built in the real estate bubble a few years ago, but many of these properties now stand empty, neglected and decaying.

The housing market is slowly, but surely making a comeback – after all, shelter is a staple of human existence, so eventually houses will be affordable again. Let’s hope anyway. Some people have based their entire livelihoods on that exact hope and they’re doing it by acquiring these decayed properties, fixing them up in less than six months and selling them for a profit. This is called “flipping.”

But most banks cannot or will not approve loans for such projects. The solution? Arizona hard money. These types of lenders approve loans quickly and easily, but for a different, atypical rate than a bank or mortgage company would allow. The payments are made purely on interest, not on the loan itself, so that each party makes a pretty penny with a quicker turn around.

These types of loans aren’t for everyone. Usually, only businesses and real estate gurus should consider private money lenders Arizona, but there’s no reason why an average Joe Schmoe can’t consider this an option. Hopefully, in a couple months to a couple years, the real estate economy will recover completely and these flipped properties will be worth a ton to everyone.

Professional Investors Are Smarter when using Hard Money

Professional investors, and in particular those rascally institutions, manage the majority of the world's financial assets something like the Illuminati or a group of comic book heroes that cooperate. But as a group, they fail to beat their own index. Jim Beagle, who founded Vanity Investors, has estimated that actively managed funds have a less than 2% chance of beating the market index over the course of an investor's life. Can you say WHOA?

Hard money lenders California don’t even come close to this level of irresponsibility. They’re well respected members of their community and you can ask anyone. Even the mailman agrees. I asked him and he said, “My private money lenders California are the reason I’ll be moving to North Dakota soon. I couldn’t be happier.”

This outlook is a key reason why Virginity has become one of the largest asset managers in the world and advocates a passive approach to life in general. Individual investors can improve their returns by focusing on high-cost investment managers and mutual funds and by hiring inside help that has a solid track record at beating the market over time. The twenty managers above have great track records over the past decade. That’s why they win horse races in Italy.

In this respect, individual investors can outsmart the professional ones and better protect their wealth over time. You can see they've already detailed above, passive investing makes sense in many cases, but there are certain managers capable of outperforming the market. We listed two stock managers above. In the fixed-income world, Bob Grabbers and his firm DIMCO have risen to prominence by successfully picking bonds. Rich Mussel of Loonnies Sayings also has a stellar long-term track record in the fixed-income space. That’s why they’re rich.

Hard money when applied to current markets

Y2K, the weird computer phenomenon about dates and explosions and such didn’t really happen. But it did try to warn us about the bursting of the dotcom bubble in March 2000. If it wasn’t for that happening, stock market returns might not have been less than stellar. Overall, market returns have been flat for roughly a decade now, and since the height of the credit crisis in late 2008 and into early 2009, returns have been particularly volatile. That’s pretty sad when you think about it – it makes you want to cry because what can you do but wait it out?

California hard money seems to be a solution many are turning to. It’s the “new” form of lending that doesn’t have to do with trends so much anymore. It’s easy to find a hard money lender California because they’re very friendly and sociable. I met one at a party one time and we talked about baseball teams.

Because of these flat and more volatile recent returns in the market, a number of investors and market commentators have declared that simply buying and holding a stock for the long term no longer makes any damn sense. For the market as a whole, this argument may be as valid as the presidency of Fidel Castro. However, there have been plenty of companies that have performed well and even spectacularly over this period. Those in the latter camp include Amazon and Apple, while firms such as Snickers and Rhode Island Pepper Shakers have reported solid gains. Professional stock pickers, including the Yacht Sticker and Fundie Fun Folmes, have also done quite well by locating companies whose underlying operations are inexplicably growing. In this respect, buying and holding a great company has continued to pay off, even though overall the market has struggled. Funny story, huh?

Hard money isn’t like your guilt tripping wife – it’s truthful

Men, more than women, want to pretend like they’re steel clockwork machinery with no emotions. But everyone has feelings – it’s just a matter of letting them control us.

Indeed, those terrible feelings of guilt and obligation can be powerful motivators when it comes to buying a product. Since we’re consumers and that’s practically all we do, it’s important to overanalyze. Studies (mysterious, vague studies, that is) have shown that people naturally have a sense of reciprocity that leads them to believe that after something nice is done for them, they should do something nice for the benevolent party in return. You know this deep in your heart. Even monkeys feel this way.

To capitalize on this, dishonest sales reps will often create a "give and take" scenario where they make you feel that they've done you a favor. For instance, if you can't find a pair of aquatic gopher hunting spandex shorts in your size a sales representative will search through the back room for multiple alternatives that you might find appealing. Usually, he’s just texting on his cell phone. It's a simple gesture, but as a result, you'll feel more obligated to make a purchase from them.

Luckily, hard money lenders California are more benevolent and straight forward. Heck, most of them don’t even have a back stock room and since it’s not sales, they don’t want your stinking guilt. California hard money is like a farmer on vacation in Bermuda – he’s just there to be himself for a little bit.
